This project was the first digital game project I developed. We were tasked with recreating an arcade classic with a modern twist. and decided to make something we could get working fast, and iterate on early.

Essentially we placed a basic Roguelike progression structure on asteroids core gameplay, you'd get a choice of upgrades between rounds of asteroids, with currency gained from destroying asteroids and alien spaceships.

If I'm honest I took the role of producer because we needed one, I didn't really want the role but I learned a lot from it. Despite this taking up the majority of my time, I was also tasked with tweaking the character controller and some general design at the same time.
